Queensland rules in short
- The QBCC says termites are a problem throughout Queensland, so plan termite management on every new build.
- The system on a house must have a design life of at least 50 years.
- Installers need a QBCC termite management licence.
Termite certificates: Form 43 and Form 12
Form 43 for a single detached house, Form 12 for other building classes, plus the installer’s certificate and durable notice.
